Somebody was talking about getting the new word processors to use the hi 128 chars in the IIgs fonts. There is a way which I have found, but it's a real pain. You can create a 128 byte text file of whatever you like, load it into AW GS, and save it as a Word processor file. Then, BLOAD the file and change the 128 bytes to $80, $81, ... $FF. Save it back. Then, load this into the word processor and capture it in the clipboard. I have a window set up with all the characters I need for foreign languages. When I need one, I can clip it out and put it in the paper (or clip it from somewhere else in the paper). This works just fine, except it's the long-winded way to do it. A *REAL* way could use the apple keys to shift the ascii, or maybe call up a window. (Remember how the Mac *groan* does it?) If anybody need to know specifically how to make the ASCII file, e-mail me or post something and I'll send you instructions. Come to think of it, I'll just send my first ASCII file, EXECUTIONER'ed, if there's any interest. Cheers, as we all wait for the day when software programmers let us easily print in whatever language we feel like. Scott "WhiteWoman" Blackman blackman@phoenix.princeton.edu
