[comp.sys.apple] flashing bell

Does anyone know what part of GS/OS it is that inserted the
flashing-screen-on-zero-volume-beep feature? If its one of the
toolsets, would it work to include that particular toolset in a ProDos
(System Disk 3.1) configuration?

The actual patch is made by Tool.Setup in the */System/System.Setup directory.
It makes a RAM patch to the _SysBeep toolbox call.

So, no, there's not any simple way you can put it on your 3.1 disk.
