Don't run AppleLink from a RAMdisk.  AppleLink modifies a certain file each
time you connect by putting a code number on it that is recorded on the host
computer as well.  If you call AppleLink with a version of the software that
contains a connection code mismatch, it won't let you sign on!  A RAMdisk is
dangerous in that if you should lose power before copying the files onto
less volatile media you might never be able to log back in.
