Whoever needed the pinouts for the Video Expansion Port on the Apple //c (The DB-15 connector at the back of the //c). They are as follows..... 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 This is the order of the pin structure when the port is facing you! The labels and definitions of the pins are as follows.... Pin #1: TEXT: Video text signal from TMG; (Timing Generator) set to inverse of GR, except in doouble-high-resolution mode. Pin #2: 14M: 14 Mhz master timing signal from the system oscillator... Pin #3: SYNC : Displays horizontal and vertical syncronization signal from IOU pin 39. Pin #4: PRAS: Displays vertical counter bit from IOU pin 4 in text mode indicates second low-order vertical counter; in graphics mode indicates low-resolution. Pin #5: IVSOUND: One-volt sound signal from pin 5 of the audio hybrid circut (AUD) Pin #6: LDPS : Video shift-register load enable from pin 12 of TMG. Pin #7: WNDW: Active area display blankiing; includes both horizontal and vertical blanking. Pin #8: +12V: Regulated +12 volts DC; can drive 300mA Pin #9: PRAS: Ram row-address strobe from TMG pin 19 Pin #10: GR : Graphics mode enable from IOU pin 2 Pin #11: SEROUT: Serialized character-generator output from pin 1 of the 74ls166 shift register. Pin #12: NTSC : Composite video signal from vid hybrid chip Pin #13: GND : Ground referennce and supply Pin #14: VIDD7 : From 74LS374 video latch; causes half-dot shift if high. Pin #15: CREF : Color reference signal from TMG pin 3; 3.58 MHz.... That's it....enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ARPA: pro-generic.nosc.mil!jgraham | INet: crash!pro-generic!jgraham | UUCP: crash!pro-generic!jgraham | -|- Proline: jgraham@pro-generic | Jonathan A.
