Short and to the point . . . . go see it! -- Tom Lanning

It appears that Douglas Trumbull has worked on another film based on an Arthur C. Clarke short story. One of the tales in Clarke's "Tales from the White Hart" anthology was about a Frenchman who invented a machine that records and plays-back brainwaves representing peoples emotional responses. The inventor recorded the emotions of France's top gourmand when enjoying his favourite meal and Paris' top prostitute making love plus a few other experiences. To say more would spoil the story so I'll stop. I've forgotten the name of the story. -- Mark Callow, Saratoga, CA. ...{decvax,ucbvax,ihnp4}!decwrl! ...{ittvax,amd70}!qubix!msc decwrl!qubix!msc@Berkeley.ARPA

I recently watched BRAINSTORM on subscription TV, and was fascinated by the plot. This was the movie that was filming when Natalie Wood (one of the stars) died. I'm curious if anyone knows what footage involving her hadn't been filmed yet, or how the movie had to be changed. Responses to me and I'll summarize to the net if I get enough responses. -- roger long pertec computer corp {ucbvax!unisoft | scgvaxd | trwrb | felix}!pertec!bytebug
