Since we set up an FTP site here, I've been more and more interested
in porting the Ka9q package from the PC's to the GS. Unfortunately,
I haven't had a chance to sit down yet to try one. I know someone
here who ported the package to the Atari ST in two days. If I can
steal most of the C from the MS-DOS software and some of the toolbox
calls from the Mac version, then maybe I'll be able to get somewhere.
If anyone has some interest in helping out or beating me to the
project, I'll be happy to mail out (or you can ftp from me) the sources.
Currently, we run slfp and slip (depending on how your terminal is set up)
and I'd like to avoid the Kermit overhead and have a nice fast connection.
