The book is translated from the original German author. Since the movie is largely a German production (watch the credits), it's not surprising to find some German references. I myself have seen at least 3 difference commercials for it, and one has the title on the book in German, and the other commercials have the title in English. The viewpoint from another culture is what makes the creatures and the world Fantasia seem more fantastic to me. It really did feel different than other fantasies (e.g. Dark Crystal). I liked the effects a lot. The book has been around a long time. My mother said that she read it as a child. On the point someone else made about re-broadcasting syndicated shows, here in the Boston area Entertainment Tonight is broadcast daily at 7:30PM and again at 11:30PM, both on the same station. If the show has the demand, it's strictly up to the local station as to when and how often they air it. The movie The Never Ending Story was about 100 minutes long. /Chris
