[comp.sys.apple] ProDOS on Clones

daveharv@pro-novapple.UUCP (Dave Harvey) (01/26/89)

The Franklin computer emulates the operation of the Apple II computer but when
ProDOS is run, it bombs. Does anyone know the patch that's required to ProDOS
to allow it to be run on a Franklin?

From InCider, Feb 1989, page 25 -

Press Control-reset when ProDOS freezes and, in monitor mode,
type the ProDOS ===> VERSION DEPENDENT PATCH <===
The ProDOS monitor command 2000G restarts ProDOS -

Version Enter
1.0 *2647: EA EA 2000G
1.0.1 *265B: EA EA 2000G
1.1 *264D: EA EA 2000G
1.1.1 *269E: EA EA 2000G
1.2 *275B: EA EA 2000G

Can anyone supply the patch address for more recent versions of ProDOS 8
(I'm using version 1.7 these days; BTW has 1.7 any known bugs -- and
before anyone yells "virus" my version 1.7 came from my local User Group
which has a site license from Apple and even supplies nice, pre-printed
labels :-)
