A neighbor of mine has a moderate sized plumbing/heating shop. He is looking for a program that will record what equipment the customer has on premise and what services and additions he has performed over the years. In addition, the program should be capable of automatically scheduling periodic maintenance calls, totaling categories, etc. If he can find a capable Apple program, he will use it. (So far he has found a program for the IBM PC world that appears to do the job, however, it costs $9000.) Appleworks or PFS, for example, do not have near the power he needs and that is pretty much the sum total of my personal experience with data bases on the Apple. -- Joe Walters att!ihlpf!bird IHP 1F-240 (312) 416-5356
