[comp.sys.apple] Apple ][+ memory expansion

dr@malcolm.columbia.edu (David Robinowitz) (02/10/89)

This question is for a friend of mine who just "inherited" an APPLE ][+ with
64K RAM. I don't read this newsgroup (I don't own an Apple.... :-( ) so
please respond via e-mail.

Is it possible to upgrade his 64K Apple to ????K ? And if so, how?
How much do memory add-on boards cost, any referrals for any cards in
particular. Thanks for your advice!

Applied Engineering's RamFactor is compatible with II+ and //e //. Your friend can expand his II+ from 256K to 5Mb. List price is $269 for 256K. Check
magazines (e.g., _A+_) for mail order prices, or call advertisers. RamFactor can
go into any slot except 3. It looks like "Apple" memory.
