I have had consistent problems with Kermit 3.84 corrupting volumes and files under GS/OS on a battery-backed up /RAM disk in slot 6 of my //gs. Does anyone know if this problem has been corrected with version 3.85? Does anyone know what causes this problem? It only happens with Kermit, so it isn't the fault of bad RAM chips. What happens is that sectors are messed up on the disk when I lauch the program (the RAM disk that is) and Mr. Fixit can't fix them. Eventually the entire Ram disk becomes corrupted and has to be re-initialized. Chip Welch LWELCH@COLGATEU.BITNET
