Mike J Pender asks about the extra hi-res feature on the Laser 128... The new Lasers no longer have that feature. I recently talked with some Central Point people (who were doing a demo at our club meeting) and asked about it. No one (that they knew of) had written anything to take advantage of it and they dropped it for more important ROM code (like increased compatibility). The only time I ever saw the mode in action was on a demo disk that was supplied with the very early Laser. If you have ever seen an Amiga flicker in the hold and modify mode... this was worse. Far worse.
