If you have a IIgs, the cheapest way is making your own a/d prep box ($5 from Radio Shack) which consists of a 1.5V battery hooked inline with an analog input source (i.e. a plug for said source), and, if you want to get fancy, a switch so you don't risk zapping your Ensoniq when un/plugging sources. Oh yeah, you need a 2-pin Molex for the GS side (which Radio Shack doesn't sell). If you don't have a GS, and you don't need the full audio spectrum (you said 20 data points per second), I reccomend the a/d d/a board Applied Engineering puts out. It has 8 d/a outputs (8 bit and fast enough for real sound (A lot of Apple Cat sound programs can be and have been (by me) converted to work with th is card)) and 8 a/d inputs. I used the a/d for a project having to do with stre ss levels in speech, so it should be okay for your purposes. -dan
