Can anyone tell me what some really good games for an
apple ][e or ][gs are? I enjoy role playing games like
Wizardry, Bard's Tale and Ultima. Arcade type games are
ok but none have really been very interesting resently.
Please give me a review.

For the info-apple people let's talk about something fun for
a while.

Apple ][ FOREVER!!!!

Yes, there are several good games out for the IIe and the IIGS. For the
IIe, I would try Might and Magic II. For arcade action on the same machine,
check out Wings of Fury. On the GS, Zany Golf is an incredibly fun game.
When I first got it, my whole dorm was in here playing into the wee hours
of the night. If you are looking for adventure on the IIGS, Shogon and
Quarterstaff should be out soon for our machine. Shogon is a text/Graphics
adventure and Quarterstaff is more role-playing. I would mention BT II and
such, but it sounds like you have already solved them. Shadowgate by ICOM
is a good adventure game that is available now. Oh yes, one more good arcade
hit would be Warlock by Three-Sixty.

Well i am an apple user owning a apple 2c
games: well i don't realy play arcade games but...
ultama 5
it is worth the money I admit it does rack the mind and it can get addictive
{ to much so! }
many fun hours for you and friends If played at certain times ( not played 24
hours at a time ) it can last a long time #1
bards tale 3
litle less brain racking but more kick ass it is a game that can set you
apart from your every day probs unlike ultama 5 you'll be able to go to sleep
and not have to worry about game dreams :)
it is a must for game players #2 the king quest 4
well not much to say.. i have had the game for 1 month and tried it once. Now
I'm not saying its bad its just I'm still trying to solve that stupid dam
ultama game :)
so i put it at #3 on my list

I will be pleased to tell more about games if asked...hint hint
at the moment I'm still into ultama but give me 5-200 more hours
and i'll be into another game :)
untill then....
