I found Buckaroo Bansai an entertaining film with one big drawback. The timing was terrible. The first half dragged badly while the second half moved too rapidly at times to catch some of the better lines. There were enough good lines and gags to keep me going, however If you are not into bad puns, wierd humor (it made Monty Python look sane in some cases), and very strange stuff in general, you won't enjoy this movie. I think some of my dissatisfaction was due to the theatre. The volume was way too loud for the size of the room, and it felt like the film was slightly out of focus. I would give this film a rating of $2. A good film to see in a midnight show, or in a cheap showing. Marla Baer-Peckham ssc-vax!marla "Just remember, no matter where you go, there you are."
