Was your 65C02 handheld a design you could share with people who were interested ? I forget the original question but if you're trying to get a lot of code into a small space and you want something higher than assembly to do it in, FORTH is ideal. A number of Apple and 6502 FORTHs are available in the public domain, even for the //gs with all the opcodes to make that class of machine happy. It would be easy to hack a small kernel out of that to do just about anything. rcs
