All you hardware gurus out in netland: I have a problem with my ][+ that maybe you can help me with. On power-up it won't go through the reset cycle. This happened once before (a year ago) and I replaced the capacitor in the timing circuit that starts the 555 to pull the reset line low on power-up. This fixed the problem last time, but there are new complications this time that baffle me. I took everything apart, and I could manually make it reset by pulling the reset line on the 6502 low. But it still wouldn't reset on power-up automatically, then I noticed that it _would_ reset on power-up if the disk- controller card was in any slot, but not if all slots were empty. Hmmmmm. So I put all the cards back in, and put the case back together, and it booted fine; but now I get no response from the keyboard (except the reset key works now!). The connections to the keyboard all seem fine, I'm wondering if it might have to do with the strobe. Please advise, I'm desperate and have no $$.
