Now, lets see. I was ranting and still have a bad attitude. "I dont seem to read enough." "I am ignorant." "If you can do better, then you do it." These are just some of the nameless letters I have received re: my bad atitude about KERMITs app385.1 and app385.2. Sorry, but I just did the impossible; I was unable to retreive the EASY file install for kermit! WHY? ONE LITTLE DETAIL WAS LEFT OUT! I know what that detail is...but what about some guy thats getting kermit for someone that has never used an APPLE(tm)? They need header information on the file format of the EXEC TEXT file. How should the lines be placed? re: 0x0D only? 0x8D only? or...should it have 0x0D 0x0A? Since the Exec files are to be USER FRIENDLY?..and EXEC,R25 does not give you any hint at what is going on...BAD ERROR HANDLING: Augment the error handling for the stupid guys like me: ADD a single line to the rest of the headers of : THIS NEEDS ONLY <RETURNS> after each line in the form of 0X8D Too many file formats in net land to leave that line out! BAD ATTITUDE ABOUT EASY EXEC FILES FOR KERMIT DBA. Scott Hutinger

They need header information Come on, Scott, if your as good as your ego, you could have made your (useful) suggestion to Ted Medin <medin-t@shark.nosc.mil> whose address is in the EZ Install as well as the APPLE.DOC file. Ted's good enough to actually answer his mail (unlike the postmaster at PSUVAX1, to name a notoriously silent one).
