glk: I have GEOS. I don't use it, because although it is very pretty it is slow. You have a transwarp and might benefit from it more. Also, you can take more advantage of it if you have a dot matrix printer. I have a daisy wheel, and although this works, you won't get all of the typefaces available on GeoWrite and GeoPublish (I don't have Publish). Honestly, I prefer programs capitalizing on text and mice. If you want to buy GEOS from me, let me know by E/Mail. I spent around $90 on it from Programs Plus (I think it was listing at somewhat higher than $130 retail at the time, though). Also, it does have a bug or two which might have been my disk drive. It tended to lose documents--ugh! though they may have this fixed. Another thing it didn't do was recognize my AE RamFactor card, al- though it recognized the Apple Computer card... In the second release of Geos they fixed this, though, and if you don't buy it from me, I may get an upgrade to take advantage of this. Product upgrades are cheap though (I think $20 or $40), and you might be able to get a copy of any of the newer disks (except the main copy-protected one) from a friend for $0. When I show it to people, they really go, "Wow! Your computer is neat!" But for productivity (writing letters, modem-ing, writing in assembler, disk utilities), I stick to the basics. Let me know by E/Mail if you have any more questions. Jeff Stern.
