[net.movies] Red Dawn, Purple Rain, Last Starfighter

Or, Three Quick Reviews in one Note.

Red Dawn -- teenage fantasyland; an absurd premise with predictable
consequences; and cardboard cutout characters. Yea for the home team.
	One star.

Purple Rain -- Prince postures, sings, and pouts, but forgets to act.
This is just an extended video; and not a good one at that. One star.

Last Starfighter -- Fluff, but entertaining fluff. Preston almost
steals the show; SFX are tasty. Characters you care about. Three stars.

I like to drink and dance all night,
Comes to a fix, not afraid to fight,
You got that, right?

The sound effects in the Last Starfighter where minimal (and so where
the special effects). The graphics, despite the use of the CRAY,
still looked like saturday morning TV.
