OK, it has been pointed out to me that I could enhance BinSCII to handle future filesystem features (such as multi-fork files). How would you all react to my changing the header layout of BinSCII files? This would mean that existing files would no longer unconvert and new files created would not work with old BinSCII's. This is strictly a survey. I haven't done anything to BinSCII concerning this issue and I won't if reaction to this proposal is negative. If you decide that my changing things is BAD, then so be it. As was pointed out, BLU II and ShrinkIt (I think) will deal with new features, and the current BinSCII could then convert files created by these programs without any troubles at all.
