I don't understand all the stuff about what Jeff said about GS/OS.. If any one thinks that GS/OS is without bugs, then don't read to much.. Now i know that not many programs are without bugs, but I also feel that it was pushed out before its time.. Mainly for AppleFest.. On the other point about the slowness of the GS.. Yes it IS.. Apple could've come out with a FASTER GS by now.. No QUESTION about it.. They chose not to, and are paying the price for this great decision! Everyone keeps talking about The Transwarp GS (nice tho) and the Floating point Chip.. Well when you add the price of those up and the GS your real close to a MacSE.. True you don't have color but that sucker sure is fast... I OWN a GS and I do like it ALOT.. It doesn't mean I (or anyone else) can't say how we feel about Apple's slowness in speeding it up. I DO NOT think that it would take much to do it.. Having 1meg of mem and a 7.xx mhz is not out of reach. Will Apple do it?? Who knows...Does Apple REALLY care.. Who knows.. I do know that I'd have to invest another $300.00 to get it to work the way it should've... If anyone wants to FLAME me just send away... Jeff just stated his opinion..
