We're talking ][e here if it matters. It's not the Prodos that's causing the problem. It's the old version of the clock setting software (it sets the registers wrong). I was having the same problem and also thought it was the version of Prodos that I was using. When I got the new clock setting software from Applied Engineering, I used it to reset the clock. Everything is back to normal now.
