There have been a number of articles about the problems associated with programming under GS/OS. Most of these problems have sounded rather traumatic, such as crashed disks. I think I can give an alternative view. My company has developed two GS applications. The first one, "Calendar Crafter" was about 30,000 lines of assembly language and was developed under System 3.2 with APW. Converting the program to GS/OS took only a couple of hours. The second product, "World GeoGraph" was about 70,000 lines of assembly language and was developed under GS/OS. No one who worked on it ever experienced any problems with hard disks crashing, etc. -- Michael V. Stein Minnesota Educational Computing Corporation - Technical Services UUCP ihnp4!!meccts!mvs
