Unfortunately, I had my IIgs ripped off by burglars, AE 1 MEg Plus card included. To make a long sob story short, I was trying to save money and hurredly bought a new IIgs (with insurance money) during family Holiday in Pennsylvania. (I live in North Carolina) The salesman never asked me if I wanted an APPLE Memory Card just if I wanted 512k and I was stupid enough and in a hurry enough not to pay attention. (dumb dumb dumb) My life as usual was in chaos when the new computer arrived, and I neglected to check out listing of APPLE memory card. I now have an AE memory card with II meg. Would someone out there be kind enough to tell me if 1) Apple Memory card could be put in APPLE IIe or Apple II+? 2) Can I take the memory chips off of the Apple Memory card and put into another APPLE IIgs memory card and then sell the card with 0K. (my brother has one too). Also since my software doesn't recognize the APPLE 256K on the mother board (is this called ROM?) Can I use the APPLE 256K as a RAM disk. I asked AE about this. They were supposed to call me back but didn't. I bought the computer in January, would APPLE take back the card and pay me back the money I spent? Thanks for being patient with my stupid questions.
