[comp.sys.apple] Need GS SHR Screen Saver

numccann@PLAINS.NODAK.EDU ("Lester I. McCann") (03/15/89)

Anyone know of a program for the GS that will save the SHR screen to disk?
I have a moderately urgent need for a way to do this, and I could
have sworn I've seen an NDA that does this very thing. Can anyone help?
Many thanks.

There is a CDA (I'm not aware of any NDA) that does this. The one I've seen
is from Apple (kinda like the clock NDA) and I'm not sure of its status
(freely distributable or what). If no one can get hold of this or if it is
known that it isn't distributable, then I've got one that I hacked out while
at StyleWare (before Claris came along & claimed my first born ;-) which I'll
be glad to part with (along with a screendump-viewer CDA), both of which are
Freeware (no, I won't turn down any money someone wants to send me, but I'm
not asking for any.)

I have not used it, but file 88-00702 on the APPLE2-L list server at
BROWNVM is titled "GS Save SHR screen cda (RINKY PIC SAVE)". Sounds
like that should do what you want.
