The Apple II+/Unenhanced IIe version of UnShrinkIt is done. You should see
it show up in your neighborhood soon. It follows the same basic
user-interface as the big ShrinkIt, but is in 40 columns and will never support
disk swapping. II+ UnShrinkIt will do what the name implies, unshrink files
and/or disks. There are *NO* fancy features at all. It will run on a II+
running ProDOS, though. The whole thing manages to fit into 12k and is all
straight 6502 (not 65c02) code -- it was a pain to write. The II+ version of
ShrinkIt is next.
A future version of 'c02 ShrinkIt *WILL* support disk swapping, but quite
frankly folks, sending me email of the type I've been getting lately accusing
me of deliberately crippling ShrinkIt won't help things. Try a more tactful
approach. This especially applies to some folks at the ProLine site,
pro-europa, who have more than gone out of their way to chastise me. I would
appreciate it if the system adminstrator of pro-europa would inform your users
to act a bit more maturely when using the net. Thanks.
