My wife's school recently set up an Appleshare network involving about 20 ][e's and 6 ][GS's connected to a Mac/SE server. She is experiencing the following problems and asked if I could post a request for help. 1) An enhanced ][e (the card IS there, the light DOES come on) with Appletalk board is trying to come up onto the server. It comes up with the message 'enhanced ][e required'. Other programs requiring an enhanced system start off the local disk OK. Any clues? 2) A GS using built-in A'talk is booted from the network. It comes back and says it can't find the server. The network box has been swapped with others and it still fails. 3) A 512K GS is powered-up and booted off the network, all is well. If you do a Ctrl-Apple-Reset or cycle the power quickly, it gets to the ProDOS loader screen and then spews garbage on the screen. Going to the Control Panel, it says it only has 384K. If the machine is left off for ~5 minutes and then powered back up, the symptoms go away. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance to all.
