errr... I am already questioning why GS/OS is so huge, filling an entire 800K disk for what I had originally though was just a 16 bit version of good'ol prodos8 amounting to 32K or so. Whatever, there is 600+K of stuff on the system.disk. Would FST's only make this BIGGER? Requiring a hard drive to function or 1.2 meg floppies that don't exist yet for the Apple // anyway? and where are these FST's anyway? Any realese date? or are they the great vaporware of the month? A lot of stuff on Apple's GS/OS distribution disk is not necessary for many applications. In fact several commercial products have come out that use GS/OS with both the OS and the application on a single 3.5" disk.
