The closest I come to violent behavior is when I see a commercial starting in a movie theater. This is just unacceptable behavior. Complain to the management and they'll tell you they run commercials to keep the price of admission down. BULLSCOOP!!! Figure it out: advertisers on television pay on the order of a half-cent per viewer. How much more could they be willing to pay a theater? I don't think guerrilla tactics are out of order in response to commercials in movies. You can complain to the management, point out the holes in the above argument, and also point out how many other theaters DON'T run commercials. You can loudly boo when the thing starts; I find that other people join in. Finally, you can demand your money back. This deprives the theater of real income, and refunds for some few people likely cover what the theater makes for showing the thing in the first place. But don't put up with it! My skin breaks out and I develop a nervous twitch on exposure to commercials, with the effect proportional to the size of the screen. Think of protest as first aid for people like me. Steve U.
