Hello... I'm wondering if anyone knows the numeric equivalent of the CLOSED Apple key on the Apple //e. (I believe it is the same as one of the Joystick buttons on the II+ ) I am presently using Kermit 3.83, and find that on my system, it does not work to well. Yet it is the only software that I have which will allow me to use the PF (Function) keys, which I need for editing and mail processing. Other terminal emulation software has nnot been too successful, as I think my systemis somewhat different from most (although it is a VAX/VMS, software that SHOULD work on it doesn't...) I have found that CLOSE (solid)-Apple and keys 6-9 generate PF1-4, respectively. I would like to try to implement this on some other terminal software, by defining macros to send out what CLOSE-Apple+key (6-9) sends out on Kermit. If anyone has any useful information as to what Kermit sends out in this case, or just what the numeric code is for CLOSE-Apple, I'd be most appreciative... Thanks in advance for any help! -Doug DREUBEN%Eagle.Weslyn@Wesleyan.Bitnet DREUBEN@Eagle.Wesleyan.Edu
