I have been toying with a setup of a Wren hard drive to Apple Compatable
with not much luck. I have an Adaptec ACB4000A ST506->SCSI controller, and
the Apple SCSI card. I can not get the Apple to recognize that there is
actually a drive out there. I know someone on the net was messing with a
similar setup in the past, and I am looking for ANY help that I can get.
It looks like the Adaptec is having no problem talking to the Hard Drive
as the handshake happens on power up and all, and the Adaptec passes it's
self test. I know it's not the computer or the cable because I tried it on
my friend's //e and he already has a warp drive hooked up to there....
SO, what I am asking for is any information that anyone can give me that may
help me get this thing together.... stuff like jumper connections, any other
little driver mods or something.
