>PLEASE CONTACT: sun!portal!cup.portal.com!sirald >------------------------------------------------- >Please supply comparible reverse address. Thanx. In general anytime you see '.bitnet' in a return address, you can reach it from UUCP (including Pro-Lines) via any of: psuvax1, rutgers, ucbvax, harvard, or (in Europe) mcvax, unido (Germany only) all of which are UUCP backbone nodes that also are on BITNET. for example: psuvax1!nodename.bitnet!username Internet mailers shouldn't have any problem resolving username@nodename.bitnet If your mail gateway is as braindead as those on BITNET, you can use: username%nodename.bitnet@cunyvm.cuny.edu (acceptable "official" substitutes for cunyvm are: mitvma.mit.edu and cornellc.cit.cornell.edu). There are LOTS of gateways for the use of specific sites (if your supposed to use one of those, your mailer will find it automatically).
