[comp.sys.apple] problems unbinsii'ing rogue clone

jmb@cbnews.ATT.COM (James M. Brohard) (03/29/89)

Is anyone having problems unbinscii'ing the recent post of the
rogue clone? I have successfully downloaded all files to my apple IIGS.
When I try to use binscii (1.0) to process the files (before using blu)
I get the error message "Invalid pathname".

I suspect that it does not like something about the filename stored in
the binscii'd file.

thanks for any tips,

p.s.
For those interested enough to want more details, here are the steps I
have taken:
1) download all files to the apple naming them r.00 - r.13
2) move the files to a ram disk - /ram5
3) execute binscii version 1.0 (which has worked in the past)
4) select 2) from the menu - convert text file to prodos
5) specify the pathname of the text file /ram5/r.00
6) specify the prefix /ram5/rogue/ (this is a pre-existing directory)
Then I get the invalid pathname error.

I have tried renaming r.00 to rogue.00 and rogue.bin.00 with no luck.
