Since many of you would like to get a word in edge-wise to the Apple top brass, I will begin accepting essays on why you think the Apple II should still live forever, and forward them to the its proper bulletin board of discussion on Applelink, one of which I know that Gassee and Sculley read. That I think would be a proper vehicle for your comments, suggestions, and mild flames. I would not suggest sending stuff straight to sculley%applelink@APPLE.COM, as he may read them, but you probably wouldn't get a response back. This way, I can save all the Apple responses and forward them back to this bboard. So what does everyone think of this suggestion? If you want to write, please send messages straight to me, REWING@TRINCC.Bitnet, or make it easier on me and send it straight to EWING%applelink@APPLE.COM so I don't have to deal with copy and pasting messages between the two services. (I'm probably going to live to regret this...) --Rick Ewing Apple Computer, Atlanta GA REWING@TRINCC.Bitnet EWING%applelink@APPLE.COM (preferred for bboard comments)

Your suggestion/offer is the best one I've seen since this "bash Apple management for their Apple II mentality" syndrome began. Thanks! And I hope you don't live to regret the offer... Cheers, Bud
