Hi folks, I use a color Mac II at work and have a IIGS at home, Until recently I haven't had any need for a spreadsheet at home. Now I do and cannot find one. I am looking for a powerful, mouse and windows interface based spreadsheet for the Apple IIGS. Graphics would be nice but are not necessary. It has to be not copy protected and must run under Prodos 8 or GS/OS. I have played with Mouse Calc and it is truly awful. Any other suggestions? I have been terribly spoiled by using Microsoft Excel on my Mac II at work. Are there any Apple IIGS products that come close? (I Don't really want to buy AppleWorks GS just to get the spreadsheet, but how good is it anyway?) If there are no Mouse based ones, could someone suggest a powerful, easy to use command based one that also works under ProDOS 8 or GS/OS? Seymour

I haven't used any Macintosh II spreadsheets, but I have used AppleWorks GS. Why don't you want it? Do you already have a graphics/mouse based GS word processor, data base software, etc.? Personally, I think AppleWorks GS is an excellent example of IIGS software, and as far as I'm concerned the best so far to come out for the IIGS. The spreadsheet alone is excellent, and the rest of the modules are really great too. Go ahead and get it-- I think you'll be glad you did.
