I would like to get a hold of some of the software written and/or sold by ByteWorks. Is there an address? Or can I only order through TechAlliance or APDA? Specifically I want ORCA/M and Small C for my IIe. Secondly, what do I need to add color to my IIe? A card? monitor? both? Byte Works address is: The Byte Works, Inc. 4700 Irving Blvd. NW Suite 207 Albuquerque, NM 87114 (505) 898-8183 I am not sure if TechAlliance carries both products, but you can always give them a call at (800) 245-8999 and ask. Personally, I would not buy anything from APDA that I could obtain elsewhere since they now charge *FULL* retail prices. You would save money by calling one of the mail order houses such as Programs Plus at (800) 832-3201. ------------------------------------------------------------------- J. This is about color. All you need is a color monitor, composite not rgb. You can also get an rf modulator from someplace (I remember getting one from radio shack for just such an application) and use your TV set for color. It wont support 80-col. text, but it will support 40-col. If you have a VCR with a video input then you already have an rf modulator just plug your monitor cable in there. You can record things you do, but some older VCR's have trouble with apple's video output. It is very close to TV standard, but not exactly. ------- | ____ | Scott Hollingsworth (deadhead) (GXH101@PSUVM.BITNET) | // %/\\ | RD 2 Box 378 | || %/ || | Ebensburg, PA 15931 | \\%___// | | \^/\^/ | | :::: |
