As I JUST got back on the net, I have a few catchup questions.... First, re: multi-tasking....I think we've pretty much agreed that multi-tasking should pose no problem on the GS (also the older ][s?) Someone with a lot of time should sit back, take a look at GS/OS, and decide what has to be done to get a switcher et al running. If I recall correctly, Apple programming guidelines state that each application should start up ALL necessary tool sets (not just the ones that don't automatically start up on boot-up) I think the only switching problems would be graphics page switching (hopefully to be solved with the up-and-coming GS+), and interrupt switching (2 progs using the same interrputs). The rest, provided everything was programmed according to Apple standards (which, as I've noticed is not often the case), should take care of itself with some simple register swapping. Second...I saw someone here post something about a UUPC port over to the Apple...anyone have ANY info on that?
