Recently I've had the unfortunate experience of actually having to use a Mac, and to my horror actually found it useful in some limited areas: namely graphs. Is there any graphing program out there that will approximate it's capabilities (5th power polynomial approximtions, both x and y variable, etc...). I'm sure Claris makes Cricket Graph, hey Scott Lindsey! Port! If you can port a 2 megabyte program from a VAX, porting one from a wimpy Macintosh (most don't even have a MMU!) should be a day at the beach! :-) - Mark Cromwell

Sorry to disappoint you, but Cricket Graph (and other Cricket programs) is not made by Claris, but by an independent 3rd party vendor (Cricket Software I believe). To my knowledge, the company has no Apple II products.

Yes, I too am in desperate need of a good GS graphing program. All I re ally ne ed to do is scatter plots, but all the features of Cricket Graph (or any of t he other Mac graphing routines) would be nice. Appleworks GS and the Visualizer just don't cut it. Mike Burzinski MJB8718@RITVAX

It would be nice to get a better version of a graphing program on the GS. Of course, neccessity is the mother of invention. Any expectant mothers out there? Claris, are you considering new modules for AWGS? --Rick Ewing Self Proclaimed GS Evangelist Apple Computer P.S. First hand report on the Apple II Video Overlay card tomorrow, just installed it today...now to find the damn videodisk player.....
