With all of this talk about the outrageous prices to fix an Apple. Is there anyway I can get the chip(s) that control the mouse on a //c? I have had some problems with my mouse for about a year (mainly the pointer "wandering" off while the mouse stays still) and have tried everything but replacing the chips. It seems that some type of radio interference is at play here, because the pointers wandering can occasionally be stopped by placing a hand near the computer. Are there any second sources for these chips? Could anybody give me information on the hardware in the //c that might break in this manner? Thanks....
