I purchased Multiscribe GS from Claris last fall and have been unable to get them to even promise me that an update to make it GS/OS compatible will be done. Recently I returned the product for a refund because I got tired of waiting. This week I just learned that Claris is selling the rights to MultiScribe and TopDraw, the other major programs they got when they purchased StyleWare last year. They kept GS-Works and mutated it into AppleWorks GS, and they are now selling the rights to the other programs to yet another software house. The downside is that purchasers of the expensive and badly supported Claris versions of these products are probably going to get a raw deal. (they have already) Lord knows what provisions are being made for owners of the original Styleware versions. The upside is that hopefully these great software products will be in the hands of a company that cares about them and will support them. Both of these programs offer unique functionality and deserve more attention and marketing muscle than Claris was willing to give them. Seymour
