I stand corrected (privately). The mouse button is $C063 only on Laser 128s and Apple IIcs, not on IIes, I don't know about the gs, since I don't have one around to try it on. I also stand corrected for insulting a person who was only trying to prevent me from spreading inaccurate information. I'm sorry. Can anyone tell me how the IIgs manages to make sound files a manageable length? I'm making a double input, double output 8-bit digitizer for my Laser, but at the recommended speed of 40,000 samples / second it fills available memory of about 90K in about a second. I could compress the data, but probably not on the fly. How are sound files for the ensoniq chip prepared? I can get a good sample at voice quality, but thats my limit, unless something presents itself. -- Michael J Pender Jr Box 1942 c/o W.P.I.
