Hi, I'm looking for one of two things: 1) Cheap (hopefully) Word Processor that is easy to use and has a spelling checker. 2) A seperate spelling checker program that is compatible with Apple Works I am not familiar with the IIGS line that much (This posting is for my girlfriend who cannot spell very well, but owns a IIGs), and I need a few recomendations conserning the above. ************************************************************************** If you've had good luck with either a word processor or a spelling checker please take a few seconds to send me a reply! E-MAIL ONLY PLEASE. Thanks a million!!! ************************************************************************** Internet: gregm@csd4.milw.wisc.edu Uucp: uwvax!uwmcsd1!uwmcsd4!gregm Csnet: gregm%uwmcsd4@uwm Greg Mumm

I would strongly recommend AppleWorks 2.n (the classic version that works on the //c and the //e, *NOT* AppleWorks GS) for the word processor. Classic AppleWorks is an integrated system with a word processor, spreadsheet, and data base. It does not include a spelling checker, but for that, I would recommend the TimeOut QuickSpell add on. This program (along with the many other TimeOut routines) can be invoked directly from within AppleWorks. No need to save your document to a file and run a separate program. ------------------------------------------------------------------- J.
