[comp.sys.apple] Converting to GS/OS

Re:Converting to GS/OS:
If you want to replace ProDos 8/16 with GS/OS, what files do have to copy?
Where do you copy them? Which files off the converted disk can be deleted?
How much difference does it make in terms of speed?

Use Apple's Install program with its associated scripts. What files are
deleted and which ones need to be created can vary from release to release.
It will take care of both.

Speed? I really can't remember how much of a difference there is -- I've been
using GS/OS too long. It is quite noticable & I would hate to think of
having to go back to System 3.1/3.2

GS/OS Technical Note #1 explains all of this. It's available through some
net magic which so far has eluded me.
