I am looking for two patches for AppleWorks 2.1. I have been using
similar patches on version 2.0 and am now quite fond of them. Does
anyone have these patches for version 2.1? The patches are:
(a) Eliminate the pause requesting you press the SPACE BAR after
booting Appleworks.
(b) Have AppleWorks automatically take the Date from the System
Clock, without a pause to press RETURN to verify the date.
These patches are not included in the files of patches that are
available from the APPLE2-L list server (i.e., files 88-00740 and
88-00756). Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.

Douglas Ashbrook Could someone please put these patches to the net (comp.binaries.apple). It's easy to get use to them being there when you startup, and very annoying when they aren't. I would really appriciate having them again, (on 2.1 I mean).
