I am putting out a call for someone reading this group who intends on being here for quite a long time and would like to take on the responsibility of maintaining a monthly posting (or postings if it is necessary) of commonly asked questions and their answers for this group. I would LOVE to take this on but at this time am unable. BUT! I would be happy to assist in getting such a thing started and in contributing new info to go on the list, checking out the info, etc. Please! If you are out there and have wanted to contribute something to the Apple community but dont feel that you have any pgms to contribute, etc. here is your chance! Items that I would like to see in this monthly posting are: How to get these messages (so that the article could be shared with friends, etc.) How to get at the archives. How to get on and off the various lists. How to get mail to and from applelink, applelink p.e., to and from bitnet perhaps? Reminders for folks to NOT POST REGULAR MAIL TO apple2-l and comp.binaries.apple2. Where to get binscii, shrinkit, executioner, kermit. What shrconvert is . Reminders that the Apple II isnt really dead ;-8 Anyway, you get the idea. -- Larry W.
