I wonder if I can get some help from folks on this net. My brother (an accountant in Canada) is going to Zaire to help with the accounting system of a mission hospital there. The guys there are using "BPI", an accounting system, on an Apple IIc, and my brother would like to find out as much as possible about this program before he goes. BPI was taken over by Computer Associates, whose number I have - they basically said that the program is old (1980), they don't have it, they don't sell manuals, go away. A friend suggested asking around the secondary schools for someone using this program - a sad commentary on the TX school system, if that's the closest one can get to the situation in central Africa (but probably true). Anyway, if anyone has an old manual for this accounting program I would be happy to pay costs of copying, mailing to Canada, whatever. Any leads to places that could supply same would be helpful.
