<I've been having a problem with my RGB monitor for my IIGS... When I have my <computer on for a while, and then turn it off by the power switch... the <monitor doesn't work properly-- Heh! I have the very same problem. I was told it was the VGA (Video Graphics Controller) chip that lives under the power supply. It always seems to boot up when it's been sitting all night (cold); but after it's been on; if I do a cold boot I get the same jagged lines... or worse , nothing at all. I'm taking mine in (I've lived with this problem for over six months... it's getting worse). But luckily, I have Applecare. BTW, my battery died too... After 2 l/2 years of constant use...
