[comp.sys.apple] Apple ][+ Emulation Software

cs2531cu@hydra.unm.edu ( KDB -2b) (04/28/89)

Hi. I have an Apple ][+ with Dos 3.3 and am currently
using SmartCom I for it to dialup. I am looking for a good
VT100 emulator, or even some instructions or a manual for
the SmartCom I.
I would really appreciate it if you could send me
any information you might have.

	Thanks!

A 'SmartCom I?' Sounds suspiciously like an old 300 baud card. You'll
be disappointed trying to do VT100 at 300 buad.

Your best bet is Kermit-65 (freeware: ftp from cunicx.cc.Columbia.Edu) or
KERMSRV@CUVMA.BITNET (and a couple of other servers including via UUCP
from 'okstate'). Rifle through the past week or so of comp.sys.apple,
instructions about how to get Kermit have appeared several times quite
recently.
