I've heard that Ed was also the subject of a drive-in theater type
movie called 'DERANGED'. The story I heard was that it was his life
story. In fact, in the beginning of the movie, a news reporter
announces that what they are about to see is true and based on fact.
It's been a very long time (1973?) since I've seen it, but I do remember
some grizzly scenes, such as one of his victims (the last one I
think), hanging from a barn rafter after being gutted out like a
deer. Has anyone else ever seen this movie?
Ed has been up for parole, but needless to say, he's never been
released.
